Mission Statement

To build a serious MX-5 racing championship that feels organized, competitive, and worth showing on broadcast.

MX-5 Proving Grounds exists to give iRacing MX-5 drivers a structured Season 1 championship built around official qualifying, qualifying-based splits, one unified points table, clean race control, professional presentation, and a community that treats the series like something worth building.

Series Overview

A proper race-series structure, not a casual hosted lobby.

MX-5 Proving Grounds is an independent community-run iRacing MX-5 championship built around organized race operations, clear sporting regulations, qualifying-based splits, and one overall drivers championship.

Splits are used only to manage race-night fields. Points remain unified, so every driver is part of the same Season 1 championship.

Independent Status

MX-5 Proving Grounds is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to iRacing, IMSA, Mazda, Whelen, Michelin, Andersen Promotions, or the real-world Mazda MX-5 Cup.
